They say you can read a person's life in their face and through their eyes. There is a lot to be read in Kim's face

Lux agreed to a shoot wearing a gorgeous feathered wedding gown

I saw street art of a Gingerbread man.... which inspired a series called "Broken doll".
Chelsea and I were over the moon with the end images.
The costume took hours to make but worth the effort.

One of my dearest friends turned 60....what a beautiful day with a beautiful friend

In Studio - playing dress ups….. my granddaughter

Thanks to H & MU for their creative skills re-creating Liza M …… the likeness in some of the shots were quite breathtaking

A family lunch in 2012 and there was young Ella dressed like a princess. Such a beauty!

Josh did me a huge favour and agreed to have his portrait taken. Towards the end of the shoot we had both relaxed into it, and we started clowning around.
Love this photo - thank you Josh
There is something about the open gaze of a young person.
Everything is in front of you

We were doing a portrait workshop at Lake Wendouree and this young lady was one of our models. She posted prettily for hours on end and was very patient. This photo was taken when she relaxed for a moment and looked over her shoulder.
I really like this photo of her.

One of my favourite images - behind the scenes

Geoffrey Williams presenting Windrush a story of migration from Jamaica to London. Beautifully presented reminiscences from his mother to a little boy - celebrating their family journey. Ballarat 2016

The pants were too big, as was the shirt…. but how it looked on Sam!

We were setting up the studio and Kim was sitting in whilst I got camera settings and lighting right.
Something funny was said.... and voila! there was the shot

At the beginning of an assignment on portraits. One of the other students brought in her youngest daughter Lucy, and one of her friends from school who is studying makeup ..... Lucy was a real natural, and so easy to photograph. Once she got over her initial shyness - she simply shone! Thank you Lucy, you were a gift to photograph

You can see the warmth and humour in her eyes...
Strength, chutzpah and so much more!

Strong and proud! We removed the backdrop and used the natural, raw wall of the room, which adds to the strength of the image

Waiting for guests to arrive for a dress up dinner party.... Molly looked quite breathtaking.

We were mucking around in the studio... and Sonia agreed to try a Helen Bonham Carter look.... from Room with a View

Traffic came to a halt, and passers by were clapping... Kim was a knock out in her steam punk costume!

Molly and I had such fun playing dress ups .... she was a fairy in a tulle skirt, a steampunker, and a 1960's go go girl.....
I hope she comes and visits again soon

A family of 7 gathered for a group portrait…. one thing led to another in between lots of laughter and very bad jokes, Photos of each family member were taken.
This is one of my favourites!

Dressing for dinner is sadly not seen as frequently as in days of yore….. Claude looked very dashing and turned more than a few women’s heads recently

Molly put on her new floral boots with this gorgeous tulle and lace dress….. the photo screamed for a little more red…..

This little suit was very tight on Molly, but in between laughing … a lot…. we managed to get some attitude happening

Molly turned 10 and for her birthday we set up the studio and had some fun!!! We had so much fun!

A different style of photography in studio

Liza is a natural in front of a camera.... she really wanted to push the envelope in this shoot

A shoot for a dear friend who was in town for a weekend

Some real magic happened during this photo shoot.. Liza followed direction and brought a lot of herself into the images.
Very proud of these images

A gorgeous photo of Liza channelling Liza Minelli in Cabaret.
An almost impossible pose to re-create - but oh so dramatic!

Lize drove this shoot... I had some ideas, and Liza had other ideas..... she led and I followed..... I was thrilled with the result - thank you Liza

Different model, different mood altogether - I kept waiting for a knight on a charger to gallop up to rescue the damsel....

Petite Fab embraced this shoot…..
